PPC is the next big thing. PPC is synonimous to advertising online. It’s the only effective thing, many claim.

Gurus from all over the world claim banner advertising is dead. Their explanation is very cunningly satisfying. “Do you ever click on banner ads?”, they ask you. “Nah, who even looks at them? Clicking them is far from the picture…”, you say to yourself mentally.

The magic has happened, and you’ve been convinced that banner adveritisig is prehistoric (in Internet time, that’s the late 90s or early 2000s.)

What’s new today? PPC. Actually, it’s Adwords, for Adwords is synonymous to PPC. Don’t advertise on content networks, use only search advertising, that too only on Google’s platform.

However, I want you to take a second look. Or even a third, if required, at popular websites. By popular, I don’t mean someone’s crazy blog that gets insane readership. I want you to look at popular sites run by corporates. They’re monolithic, they’re huge and it takes insane amounts of cash just to pay the server cost. How do these guys still earn a huge profit?

If you look closely, you’ll find banner advertising in one for or the other. The guys who tell banner ads suck are also the ones who put “block ads” in their WordPress blog’s sidebar. What are they? Banners again.

These huge sites do spend a lot, and need to make a lot of money. And for them, banner ads seems to work. It may not work on you, but maybe on countless others. You may no longer click on Adsense ads, but that doesn’t make Adsense dead.

These guys also have the patience to optimize their ads so that they make the maximum revenue. And from that, it looks like banner ads work if you know what you’re doing.

Put up banner ads on related sites for a great CPA offer, and you’ll certainly be happy with the results. With banner ads being damn cheap now a days, why not experiment a little bit?

You can check out a resource up here which shows you step-by-step videos on how to setup a banner ad campaign (it pops up after the page opens.)

What happens when a salesman clings to you wherever you go, begging you to buy the product he is selling? However good the product might be, but you’re sure to not buy it from him, at least not anytime soon. When you get the feeling that someone is trying to sell you against your wish, you become alert, and very pessimistic about whatever is being offered to you.

So, How Do You Sell WITHOUT Selling?

When creating niche websites selling affiliate products, or even an article in an article directory, people come to you NOT to buy anything. The only thing they want is information. And they are willing to pay for the information if the situation arises.

It is difficult to convince someone first-hand that a specific “technique” or “idea” is good. But it is easier to sell to those already convinced. For example, Social Bookmarking software may not appeal as much to a person plainly looking to build links. But it will sell like hot cakes to those already SOLD on the idea of using social bookmarking for backlinks.

Think A Hundred Times Before Buying

Even when you’re convinced that a product is what you need. You will still research, juicing out the tiniest piece of extra information about the product you’re about to buy. All this, just to be sure you’re not making a wrong move. You need to find such people, and tell them that they’re right.

That’s the essence of “easy selling”. Has it got your brain thinking? Fire up some more neurons, and you’ll stumble upon a great idea.

An Example Of How It’s Done

One of the masters of this technique is Chris Rempel. He explains, in his Conduit Method report, on how to create websites that never ask people to “BUY”, and yet rakes in profits. And mind you, you can create such websites in hours, and move on to the next. And free traffic is a natural byproduct that you get, without even trying. The simplicity and beauty of this method has even made marketers at WarriorForum raving about it.

I like the way it makes those “review sites” obsolete, which fruitlessly try to make the customer “buy buy buy”. No wonder most of the people steer away from such pages.

Millions of website online have articles teaching you how to make money online. Read 100,000 pages from different website about a particular way to make money, and you’ll find they all say the same. You don’t learn anything new from the rest. 99,999 pages of wasted reading, at your disposal.

There is one little advice I received from my marketing peers at forums and other places. And that very revealing secret is,

Go In The Direction Opposite To Where The Rest Of The Masses Are Going

Revealing? It’s much more than that. I’ve seen this advice given by WarriorForum owner Allen Says too. Actually, if you even get a glimpse of what kind of stuff this guy does, you’ll receive the most astonishing shock of your lifetime. Giving a little hint, the kind of website that make money easily, is nothing like what most of the people online are trying to do. And don’t get this in the wrong way. Easy in no way means no work. By easy, I meant doing only things that work. You’ll be surprised how much extra work you’re doing for nothing.

Article Marketing Everywhere

A person who learns article marketing writes an article on article marketing. Confused? Read that statement again, then. What happens is, someone begins with a false idea. People falling into it propogate that false idea using their own networks. What you have is this false idea infesting the internet for the rest of its life.

Some Food For Thought – Think Over Them

Does Google penalize you for duplicate content? In what ways? What is “duplicate” in Google’s eyes? Are you sure?

What is your current strategy? Why do you think it will work? Is it your own conclusion, or someone else who can’t be trusted?

Are things you deem difficult really are difficult? Or is it a red herring? Are you not attempting something just because the whole of internet says you can’t?

Just A Last Bit Of Advice

Find out the reason why people opt against using a particular marketing strategy. Does the reason make sense? Have you tried it?

Do something you thought was tough, only to find out it was not tough at all. You can get a smile seeing millions of others who still think it’s tough. Isn’t that the edge you always wanted?

P.S. This not only applies to marketing, but anything else you ever encouter in your life. Be it causal blogging, or skiing.Similar Posts:

Product Creators Always Said…

…We created the product
We created something that people desperately wanted
Our product is the next-generation innovation
It stands on it’s own
(Apparently, we still need a sales letter)

And The Copywriters Are Not So Far Behind In Saying…

…Certainly, product creators could never write a sales letter with their crap arguments
We showed the people what’s in it for them
We included numerous psychological triggers only God knows of
We tested hard to churn out the highest conversion rates

(And We can continue for the rest of the day with this rant)

Now, Lets Get To My Humble Opinion

We should first understand the fact that without features, copywriters won’t have any benefits to put on his letter. As Seth Godin says, every remarkable product creator needs to be a marketing, understanding the need of his core market.

Product and Sales Letter go hand in hand, and are two sides of the same coin. You can live with just one of them, maybe you’ll end up making sales. (For those thinking how can you make a sale with just a sales letter and no product, think “scammers”)

But with their powers combined (now that’s like Captain Planet), they’re a monster. To convey my exact point, I will only need to tell you the difference between a feature and a benefit.

Features are stuff what something, say a piece software or knowledge can help you do
Benefits are all about how and in what ways you use them

EXAMPLE #1 – Social Bookmarking Sites

The feature of social bookmarking site is that they allow users to store links on their servers, share them and make them public to the world. The benefit? You never lose a link. You get to share crazy stuff with your friends, and others do the same.

Is that all? Apparantely not. Marketers have found another benefit, which is the sole benefit for them. And that is, linkbuilding. Social bookmarking sites give links, and that’s the only thing they’re after. They don’t care about the “sharing” benefits that these services offer.

You see, the benefit marketers are after is not even advertised in those bookmarking services. Yet, there are thousands of website out there talking about this little “marketing” benefit.

EXAMPLE #2 – The Almighty Google

Google has launched numerous services in the past months and years. Even though it still retains name primarily as a world class, unparalleled search engine. What do people use them for? To search information. That’s primarily what it’s used for.

But again, it can be used to spy on competition, estimate your potential rankings and wild stuff like that. Another community might be using it in some other special way.

Did Google think about all this when it launched? No! It’s like what 37Signals said. Give people a simple tool, and be amazed at their creativity at using it. It will save you hundreds of man hours, because people may not require a complex feature to be added in order to reap a specific benefit.

Out of the numerous reasons people use search engines, do you think Google or any other company thought it could/would be used like that? It’s only certain people at first who found new benefits of using it (the innovators and early adopters), and spread it across the rest of the bulk.

So, What Does That Teach You?

To build a remarkable product, you often need to work backwards. Find the benefits for which the target market crave for, and then implement a feature that helps reap the benefit in an efficient manner.

Product creators are the one who create, Copywriters persuade and spread. Copywriters represent the product in the most efficient manner.

Earlier, in the world of direct marketing, product creators may have not known of certain benefits their product offers. Which of course, was the job of the copywriter to find through extensive research, and put it forward. But things have started changing. It’s now often necessary to write a compelling sales letter and then create something that fulfills them.

It’s time to be remarkable, as Seth Godin says.

Do You Want To Be Remarkable?

If you want to make remarkable stuff that spread, then I could not recommend these books enough. It by none other than Seth Godin. At least get “The Purple Cow”. It will change the way you think.

When writing articles, creating websites, or even creating the next generation product for a market, everyone looks at one place first. What do they look at? Keywords. The more searches a keyword gets, the lesser competition it has, the more profitable the keyword is. Of course, profitability depends on amount of buyers in the niche, of which the number of Adwords ads often is a good indication of.

But no one thinks about…..

What Are These People Looking For Then They Enter “Keyword” In The Search Engines?

We may assume something, and develop an entire site or product based on this assumption. But what if people are looking for something else? What if the key phrase they’re searching for can be interpreted in different ways?

Don’t worry, because…

Yahoo Answers To The Rescue

Go to Yahoo Answers, and type in the keyword you are thinking of targeting. Look what it throws up at you. Assuming Yahoo to be a good search engine, you can be sure that the questions you are shown are highly relevant to the phrase you entered.

This would give you a good idea of what people mean when they search for the given term. Lateral thinking is the key to success here. Read between the lines. Don’t just look at specific questions, but also the nature of the questions.

There may be tonnes of question about various aspects of a product’s pricing, say. But all the questions revolve around the pricing. If you create a page dedicated to it, consider you visitors to be happy about your superior service.

I once more emphasize that you need to look at the questions with an open mind. Look which portion of a specific niche gets maximum questions. Ask yourself, why did the person ask that question? You will soon find that, different questions might have the same “intent” in the asker’s mind. Find out how you can address his doubts or intents. This is important when you are selling your own services.

But Don’t Rely On It

Don’t just rely on others abilities to ask questions. Sometimes, the question that would be bugging you might have never been asked properly by anyone. So what? Ask it yourself!

If you ask a question like, which is the best “weight loss pill”, you’ll find varied opinions and suggestions. Some might say pills are bad, some may say they’re good. But they all give their own experiences and reasons to support their answer. Use this to your advantage!

And How Exactly Am I Supposed To Do That?

Just as how people ask and respond to questions in Yahoo Answers, the same thing happens offline. When a person asks his friend for advice, he might give it the same way you see on Answers. You have to assume the visitor to be skeptical (say towards the affiliate programs you promote), since he might have already done some research.

Now that you know which questions he has in mind, answer them. It would be like mind reading to your visitor.

Provide the user with what he wants, and he will provide you with what you want.Similar Posts:

Even though I’ve taken marketing as an example, but this is applicable everywhere. Regardless of our professions, there are numerous experts whose advice we follow. Some of the advisors are not-so-experts, at least on the enormous internet.

I’ve found a lot of advice, lot of “best practices”. But since I was not from the marketing background originally, I saw things no other marketer did. This is one reason you should still study the subjects you’re passionate about, and not just concentrate on marketing, marketing and marketing.

I won’t give you specific examples (sorry about that, but secrets are secrets ), but I can tell you one thing. Never be surprised if you stumble upon an easy way of doing something which the entire community considers impossible. Always look out for new stuff, and take a closer look at all the old stuff too. Here, stuff refers to anything, be it an ebook, a marketing course or a tool that you regularly use in marketing.

I am sorry for such a vague post though. Some things you stumble upon has to be kept a secret, because majority of the marketing community should not know about them. Not because you need an edge (even thought that reason is alone sufficient), but because most of the people online don’t know how to use the edge you reveal. They will exploit, spam and in a matter of days, your “secret” becomes spam. Everyone stays away from it. You’ve just given up a marketing advantage that you could have improved upon.Similar Posts:

You most probably have learnt how to create that “perfect little” author resource box from an Internet Marketer or a related website. If you have, then there is a great chance that you have the wrong information.

The World Of Marketing Is 98% Bad Followers & 2% Good Businessmen

Any novice internet marketer, who is among that 98%, would write an article or two, see little results, and leave. Not just that, he rinses and repeats the exact same process. Also, if any marketer uses a niche as an example for his tutorial/article, most of the readers jump into that niche. And the only thing they see is that niche.

And all such people have written their own version of “resource box” secrets, ripped directly from where they themselves learnt it from, whether it’s right or wrong. That’s why, more than 90% of article you’d find online about resource boxes say the same thing. Just the different yet bad titles at times…

It’s just like Grapevine. Or for simplicity, how rumours spread. But anyways, lets get to the point.

Resource Box Is All About Linking Out Well – And Nothing More

How many outgoing links have you seen in your favorite website? How many of them do you follow? When a fellow blogger links to a resource in a post, do you visit it? You mostly do. Why? You know the answer.

A sub-standard article fails because it goes something like this…

crap
crap
crap
BUY BUY BUY

…and the reader is thinking “SCAM SCAM SCAM!”.

There is a lack of flow. When coming to the resource box, your article abruptly changes course. Think about it. If you’re written an informative article, and you’d like to recommend a resource without breaking the flow, can you do it? Yes you can. Much better than you think.

Millions of website online are doing that. You see it everyday. But when it comes to your article, everything changes.

And It’s Not A Problem With You Either…

It’s with your attitude while writing an article. Internet Marketers have spoiled the hell out of articles, by giving out false information. Their methods of advertisements literally prevents any new article marketer from providing value. But I’m not talking about reputable article marketers, mind you. They’re great. And you can take advice from people in various forums, on what stuff to rely on when learning the various phases of internet marketing (this line and others you’ll shortly find are bolded for a reason you’ll find at the end. It’s there to add to your knowledge after you read the article).

You SHOULD provide value. And the product you’re promoting should be a part of the answer, however small. It’s the only way to keep the flow.

Stop Bugging Your Visitors!

The attitude I see in many articles are like, “Here’s some sh*t information, now buy this!”. It’s surely not the way of doing things right.

You should KNOW and UNDERSTAND your visitor’s needs, so that you know what you should be writing about, and how the product you’re promoting plays a role in it.

Everything’s On You Now…

As you’ve seen, I’ve just ranted. What’s the solution now?

Keep on visiting whatever sites you already visit, and also new ones, especially those related to the niche you’re targeting, and…

See how they link out

Analyze why it looks so natural

Determine what made that website, which should have been self-contained in the information it’s providing, link out

Imagine how you could link out on the same pretext, from your own articles

Find a way to delay the links so that they appear in the resource box

And all of that DOES take creativity. And why didn’t I give some concrete resources to you to fiddle with? Because the next thing that’s gonna happen is that people will be spamming EzineArticles with this newly developed way of “linking out”. And readers will become used to it, reducing the effectiveness of those people who are really honest and do care.

I am leaving you without a concrete answer, but the reason for that is not selfish. I don’t want you to confine your thoughts inside the box I show you. I don’t want to tell you to look at websites that I like. I want you to come up with ideas of your own. Things even I have not thought about.

And A Word About Those Bolded Sentences….

If you’re looking for a forum wherein you can seek advice from great marketers, as well as be pointed into the right direction, I’d recommend WarriorForum.com. I’m myself active there, and it’s a place where you can get tonnes of ideas…

And I GOT YOU, Didn’t I….?

That was a clear example of what I was talking about! In the middle of my article, I mentioned looking at forums for advice. I didn’t specifically mention anything after that. But in the near end (where your resource box would be), I provide more details about what I talked about. And this might include the product I am promoting. Even though the “forum” part was very small compared to my article, people still ought to remember it, and follow the link I gave.

Since WarriorForum is not alien to me, I could write a line or two about it without hyping up stuff. The way I’ve written it does imply in a way that I don’t care whether you visit it or not, but agreeing that it’s a great place. I’m not pushing you there.

So, what did you learn?

1. Know the product you’re promoting well
2. Don’t bug your visitors

What’s In Your Mind?

Well, that was a pretty lengthy post. I’d be more than glad to know what you think about it. Maybe we can discuss about it further, and uncover hidden treasures about the “Perfect Resource Box“!Similar Posts:

If you don’t already know, Micro Niche Finder is a keyword research tool. In a nutshell, it’ll throw low competition keywords at you, so that you can monetize from them like hell.

Enough talking…

Lets get to the point. Most of the people using the product do this,

1. Find a huge list of low competition keywords
2. Write an article for each
3. Wait
4. Still Waiting….
5. Get some pittance as affiliate commission for their efforts

In The Business World, You Need To Know…

…how to maximize profit, your market position, and any resource you have. Clearly, if you follow the steps I’ve given above, you’re not doing it.

Even if you do rank high for those easy keywords, you are not guaranteed high traffic. People will not always click your website in the search engine.

That’s Why You Need To Dominate The…

…Front Page! Yes, that’s right.

Lets say someone searches something in Google. It comes up with 10 listings as default. Imagine a situation wherein you wouldn’t care on which one he’d click. Why? Because each listing will belong to you!

Well, that’s a little high dosage.

So, what you need to do is….

1. Find loads of keywords in which you can rank high. Using Micro Niche Finder is a boon
2. Instead of writing just 1 article/content, write a few more, for each keyword
3. Put them in different websites
4. So, your own websites are competing against each other. Some, if not all, ought to show high in the SERPS
5. Pocket cash, regardless of which one the user visits

The principle is, instead of having just one website competing against your already low numbers of competitors, you have many. So the overall probability of your content getting traffic is increased dramatically!

And if you’ve never heard of Micro Niche Finder, now’s the right time to know. It’ll save you a lot of headaches.

Have a nice day!Similar Posts:

As you already know, it is against the Adsense TOS to reveal any account information like CPC in public. The reason for that is, not everyone gets the same results.

I Got A Better Website, Yet I’m Earning Pittance

This is the reaction many of you have when you see people screaming, “I’m making good cash with Adsense!”. It almost seems impossible to go wrong. You researched right, you know your market is competitive, and that keywords cost $$ per click. Yet, your income doesn’t support your assumption.

It’s not as easy to predict how much cash Google will bring you. Until now….

Keyword Country To The Rescue!

Keyword research tools are getting crazier (in a good way) every year. You’ll be amazed at the features they throw at you. People who use them are miles ahead than those who don’t. Nothing beats the competitive advantage it gives. If you’re serious about building an online business, then read on.

Rip Apart Money Keywords

Keyword Country shows you all about keywords that get high traffic, that really pay high, without any guesswork. You’ll also find niches you’ve never thought existed. Talk about less competition.

I recommend visiting their video page where they show some crazy stuff.

Enough Said

Visit Keyword Country to know more about this. Also, pay a visit to their free keyword tool.Similar Posts:

But I’ll show you some ways you can start earning some bucks online, specifically using Micro Niche Finder.
Even though you’ll also learn some creative ways to use the tool, but your main focus should be the tool itself.

Some Misconceptions About Micro Niche Finder…

Most of the newcomers to Internet Marketing think that tools like Micro Niche Finder are sneaky software applications, that’ll provide them with what no other source can. This is plain wrong! Whatever you can do with Micro Niche Finder, you can do with free tools available online.

So, why have MNF in the first place? Because you’re planning on running a business, not researching for eternity.

If you write just one article, and pray to achieve success with it, what would happen? You may, or you may not succeed. But if you write 10 articles, you’ll find success with at least one of them. Spending 5 hours researching one article is a waste of time, when you could write around 10-15 articles easily. And that would pull in more profits than one article.

This is where MNF kicks in…

Rather than trying to find “which keywords” you can rank high for relatively easily from a junkload of keywords, MNF can be used to only show those keywords that are profitable in the first place. You save enormous amount of time, and money (Since time IS money).

You can use it to uncover less competitive niches, market in them, and move on to the next. Yes, that’s right. Move on to the next niche or article. Don’t stick with just one.

MNF Puts Rapidity Into Your Business…

If you’ve read other reviews of MNF online, you’ll find that they talk too much about the technical aspect. Like low competition keywords etc. I know, and you know too that low competition keywords are good. And we both can find at least some of it if we research for the whole day.

But that’s not the point. It’s about How Fast You Can Do It. If you write, say 20 articles using MNF’s analysis on keywords that are both profitable, and less competitive, you wouldn’t mind if 10 articles don’t bring a dime. Because the other 10 would be bringing in hot $$$.

Decide What You Are…

Dont think 10 hours before writing an article. Write hundreds of them in that time. Micro Niche Finder helps you find the right niches to write about. Business is all about rapidity. Time is money. Don’t get overtaken.

And That’s About It…

You might be wondering why I didn’t write anything technical about Micro Niche Finder. That’s because you don’t need any of those crap. It’s all mentioned in the website. You could watch the videos I mentioned above.

What you rather need to know is what it can do for your business, and in what way. Which is what I precisely mentioned above.

I suggest you try out Micro Niche Finder. They have a money-back guarantee. So if you don’t think it’s for you, then throw it away and move on.
